Will-Burt is recognized for its contributions to the local economy by the Wayne Economic Development Council

The Will-Burt Company was presented with the 2012 Quality Growth Award – Orrville by the Wayne Economic Development Council during a ceremony held April 2nd. The award is presented to a business that has demonstrated its commitment to enhancing Wayne County’s economic future and quality of life.
“Will-Burt was recognized for its continuing expansion efforts through product development, acquisitions and organic growth,” said Rodney Crider, President of the Wayne Economic Development Council.
“I am honored to accept this award on behalf of The Will-Burt Company,” said Jeffrey O. Evans, President, CEO and Chairman of The Will-Burt Company. “It recognizes the efforts of our entire organization to execute our business plans to best satisfy our customer’s. We take pride in the fact that we have been a part of this community for nearly 100 years and have made a positive impact on the economic future of this area.”
The role of the Wayne Econmic Development Council is to stimulate new investment and job growth through business expansion and attraction initiatives. Formed in 1991, the WEDC is a private organization dedicated to the economic development of Northeast Ohio. It was formed to serve as the lead economic development organization for Wayne County.
