Orrville, Ohio: March 31, 2006 – The Will-Burt Company announces the new D-TEC II ® Safety System. The D-TEC II ® Safety System enhances alternating current and sonar detection while improving the operational quality of the product.
“Used with telescoping masts, the D-TEC II ® Safety System replaces the D-TEC,” said Alan Fenton, Director of Sales and Marketing. “Will-Burt’s continues to look to the customer for direction when implementing product improvements. Focused engineering resources have contributed to making the D-TEC II ® easier to maintain and overall, a better performing product.”
D-TEC II ® Safety System features: AC detection through dual threshold E-field (current) and H-field (magnetic) voltage sensing, upgraded collision detection which will sense smaller, distant objects, built-in bypass capabilities with OSHA limit setting, expanded self-test features to ensure system is working properly at start-up and during system diagnostics, long life LED look-up light for reduced product maintenance, standard rack mount, optional remote mount display, improved sensor mounting design for quicker installation, improved non-vented sensor housing for superior moisture resistance, audible warning system in both English and Spanish, alpha-numeric display for detection status and smaller diameter cables for easier installation.
A key feature of the D-TEC II ® Safety System is the built-in Emergency Bypass. This eliminates the need for a separate installation.
