The Will-Burt Company, manufacturer of Night Scan®, the #1 selling light tower in the world, will debut the Night Scan® Chief with Profiler Light Fixture, at the company’s booth (#9324) in the Lucas Oil Stadium at the 2012 FDIC, held Apr. 19-21 in Indianapolis, IN.
The Night Scan Chief with Profiler Light Fixture is a space-saving, roof-mounted unit at only 21 inches wide enabling installation on new or existing Emergency Services vehicles with limited available mounting space. In addition to AC, the unit is also available as DC powered, operating entirely from the vehicle’s standard battery system, allowing it to be installed on any existing pumper or other fleet vehicle without a generator. While the Profiler is narrower in size, the DC unit features two 90 watt 12 VDC LED light fixtures which deliver bright scene illumination and full pan and tilt capabilities.
“At Will-Burt, we know that nighttime scene lighting is critical for any fire department,” stated Will-Burt President, CEO and Chairman, Jeff Evans. “Our Night Scan Chief with the Profiler Light Fixture is a compact system that will enable fire departments to retrofit any current vehicle with bright scene lighting, no generator needed. Now, departments don’t have to wait for a new truck purchase to obtain a light tower. With this and other products in our broad Night Scan line, we have the solution to deliver the safety and efficiency benefits of nighttime scene lighting on virtually any fleet vehicle, new or aftermarket.”
Will-Burt’s Night Scan line is the #1 selling light tower in the world for good reason:
- Night Scan’s largest unit elevates up to 56% higher than competing products: Higher Height = More Light
- Night Scan units are over 42% lighter than competing products: Yielding cost savings in fuel and installation (no roof reinforcement)
- Our units do not have to be fully elevated before illumination – enabling emergency operations to begin faster
- Night Scans are constructed and operated with aluminum pneumatic tubes: ensuring reliable operation in harsh environmental conditions, as tested and proven from the cold and ice of Canada to the sand and dust of Afghanistan.
In addition to its booth, Will-Burt will be hosting an outdoor Night Scan light tower demonstration event on Thursday, Apr. 19th, from 5:00-8:00PM, directly across from the convention center, 126 W. Georgia St.
