The Expedition Series Ranger Mast is a highly portable, lightweight mast system. This system can be deployed quickly by extending 4 foot (1.2 meters) mast sections to heights from 8 feet (2.5 meters) to 60 feet (18.3 meters) with lightweight payloads.

All Expedition Series models are easily transportable. This sleek line of masts is ideal for deployments that do not require a shelter or a vehicle for support. The patented large tripod base allows a single crew member to assemble and extend mast section to heights from 8 feet (2.5 m) to 60 feet (18.3 meters) with lightweight payloads. The Expedition Series is ideal for compact storage and fast deployment and is designed with lightweight high strength carbon fiber tubes.

The composite tripod has been MIL-Qualified to endure the harshest environments without any needed maintenance. The expedition series features the least number of pinch points when compared to similar products on the market. This allows for seamless operation during set up and teardown.

Eccentric friction levers make operation easy with arctic gloves or in wet icy conditions. Two highly visible bubble levels let you plumb the tripod in seconds.

A center guide tube increases the stability of the tripod while providing a smooth guide path when raising and lowering tube sections. A tube lifter is provided to give the user an ergonomic advantage when raising heavy payloads.

Each mast section is made from high strength carbon composite material offering distinct advantages over aluminum or steel. This composite tube gives the best strength to weight ration available. Carbon tubes are inherently dent resistant. They have a slot and pin design that locks them together preventing rotation. Each tube has a fiberglass protective outer coating that is UV and scratch resistant.
