The Will-Burt Company announces the addition of the Stiletto HD to its line of high performance electro-mechanical telescoping masts. The Stiletto HD (28VDC) is a revolutionary screw-drive mast designed for communications, reconnaissance, and surveillance applications. The Stiletto HD is lightweight, mobile and allows internal or external mountings for MRAP or shelter installations. Built with durable, high strength carbon fiber composite tube sections, the Stiletto HD is designed and tested to meet MIL-STD-810 environmental standards for operations in extreme conditions.

 

The Stiletto HD is a more rugged version of the original Stiletto electro-mechanical mast. The Stiletto HD can support up to 400 pounds (181 kg). Additional features include larger tube diameters for greater strength and rigidity, non-rotatable self-locking sections that provided tight antenna pointing accuracy, and enhanced controls to provide height read-out. A computer interface for operation is also available.
